Privacy Notice
This is the privacy notice for dddimo.com, the pre-launch landing page for DDDIMO — a community marketplace for 3D printing, built on the Cobuntu platform.
Status: pre-incorporation. DDDIMO is currently a project in formation; the legal entity (DDDIMO Lda.) has not yet been incorporated. This notice describes the data we collect today and will be reissued under the company name once incorporation is complete.
1. Who is responsible
Until DDDIMO Lda. is incorporated, the data controller is the founder of the DDDIMO project, contactable at hello@dddimo.com. Post-incorporation, this notice will be reissued naming DDDIMO Lda. as controller.
2. What data we collect
On dddimo.com today, we collect only two categories of data:
- Early-access form submissions — name, email address, location, and any additional fields the form asks about your role as a creator, buyer, or community member. You provide this voluntarily when you click any tier card and complete the form.
- Site analytics — anonymous, aggregated traffic data via Vercel Analytics (page views, referrers, country-level geo). No cookies are set for this. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We do not collect: payment information (no payments are processed on this landing), uploaded files, transaction data, or community posts. Those will only be collected once the platform itself launches, at which point this notice will be expanded to cover them.
3. Why we collect it
- To notify you when DDDIMO opens to early-access members.
- To determine eligibility for the founding-rate program (first 1,000 paid Studio members lock €19/mo for 5 years).
- To understand which creator segments are signing up, so we can prioritise the right tooling at launch.
- To prevent abuse (e.g. fake signups, scraping) of the early-access form.
The legal basis under GDPR is consent (you submitted the form voluntarily) and our legitimate interest in operating the early-access programme.
4. Who has access
Early-access data is stored on infrastructure operated by the Cobuntu platform (the host for the DDDIMO community). Sub-processors involved:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting for dddimo.com (EU + US regions).
- Cobuntu — community-management infrastructure that stores the early-access list.
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketing services.
5. How long we keep it
Early-access submissions are retained until DDDIMO launches or until you ask us to remove your record, whichever is sooner. Once the platform launches, your record will either (a) be migrated to a full member account if you complete signup, or (b) be archived for up to 12 months as launch-notification proof and then deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to: access the data we hold about you, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, ask for portability (a copy in machine-readable form), object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@dddimo.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — for Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados (CNPD).
7. International transfers
Some sub-processors (e.g. Vercel) may process data in the United States. Where transfers outside the EEA occur, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
8. Cookies
dddimo.com does not currently set any tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookieless. If we add any functional or analytics cookies in future, this notice will be updated and a cookie banner shown.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the project evolves — in particular when DDDIMO Lda. is incorporated and when the platform itself launches. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll notify everyone on the early-access list by email.
10. Contact
For any privacy question, data request, or to be removed from the early-access list: hello@dddimo.com.
